About us

Reitan Convenience is part of REITAN, Norwegian retail business. Reitan Convenience operates across seven Nordic and Baltic countries and brings together a portfolio of strong brands. In Estonia, these include R-kiosk, Caffeine and Lehepunkt.

WIth people at heart, we are here to make convenience sustainable and sustainability convenient, fulfilling everyday needs for people on the go.

About the role
Our strategy puts a strong focus on expanding our digital presence, operating with excellence and building new capabilities. As our IT Business Partner, you will help turn these ambitions into practical technology solutions.

You make sure our business teams get the most out of IT, including Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Sales and HR. You turn their needs into clear requirements, identify the right delivery approach, whether through a solution already used elsewhere in REITAN, a group IT team or a local partner, and see each project through until it works in day-to-day business.

This is a hands-on business partnering role where you take ownership of projects, vendors and business needs, while working closely with REITAN’s wider IT organisation rather than leading a local IT team. You will be part of our Support Office team in Tallinn. In everyday matters, you report to a member of our Estonian management team. On REITAN-wide projects, you work under the lead of our CIO in Finland.

Your key responsibilities
  • Own IT development projects in your area from initial idea to successful delivery, ensuring scope, timelines and costs stay on track.
  • Support the business in getting full value from REITAN-wide data and product information platforms, and take ownership of getting issues resolved, coordinating the right teams and partners so business teams can focus on their work.
  • Manage IT partners and vendors: follow up on SLAs and contracts, negotiate, consolidate where it makes sense and bring in new partners when needed.
  • Own the IT budget in your area and act early when a project starts to cost more than it is worth.
  • Prioritise based on business impact and customer value, rather than simply addressing requests in the order they arrive. Sometimes, this means saying no to solutions that would make things harder for our customers.
  • Bring fresh ideas and explore how AI and emerging technologies can help modernise legacy systems, improve ways of working and create business value.
What we are looking for

  • Experience in a role that connects business and IT, for example as an IT Business Partner, IT Project Manager, Product Manager, Business Analyst or Consultant.
  • A good understanding of how systems, integrations and data flows work, for example ERP systems such as Business Central, POS systems and data platforms, enough to ask the right questions and spot when something does not add up.
  • Experience working with external partners or vendors, ideally including SLAs, negotiations and budget management.
  • A strong business mindset: you can build a simple business case, understand the costs involved and explain the value a solution can create.
  • Strong communication skills with both business stakeholders and IT specialists.
  • Curiosity, initiative and a drive to get things done. You are comfortable building new relationships across countries, teams and organisations.
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, and an interest in how they can create real business value.
  • Fluent Estonian and English.
What we offer

  • A competitive salary aligned with the scope and responsibilities of the role, together with an annual bonus based on REITAN Group and company goals and car compensation.

  • A role with real influence on how technology supports and develops our business in Estonia.

  • An international network, including peers in similar roles in seven countries to learn from and collaborate with.

  • Flexible working arrangements once you have settled into the role. At the start, we would like you to spend time with our people, both in the office and across our stores and cafés, so you can get to know the business.

  • An office at Ülemiste City, Tallinn, and occasional business trips.

  • A value-driven Scandinavian company with people at heart.
