The Accountant plays an
important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial
operations. You will support the accounting activities of the Estonian company
and selected group entities, covering day-to-day accounting, tax reporting,
payroll accounting support, month-end closing, audit preparation, and
regulatory reporting. Working closely with the Head of Finance Europe, you will
also contribute to process improvements, reporting quality, and strong internal
controls.
Your main responsibilities
Maintain
accurate accounting records, ensuring proper classification, approvals,
documentation, and archiving.
Process
purchase, sales, resale, pass-through, and intercompany invoices, maintain
supplier master data, review expense reports, and allocate project costs.
Manage
bank payments, reconciliations, cash balances, and payment status monitoring.
Support
payroll accounting, including payroll entries, timesheet accounting, vacation
accruals, and related documentation.
Prepare,
submit, reconcile, and archive tax declarations and payments, including VAT,
payroll taxes, fringe benefits, and entertainment costs.
Record
loan transactions, interest accruals, and foreign currency adjustments.
Support
month-end and year-end closing activities, including audit preparation and
documentation.Maintain
fixed asset and intangible asset registers.
Support
the capitalization of R&D costs by preparing source data, allocating
project costs, and recording month-end capitalization entries.
Prepare
statistical reports and other recurring regulatory filings.Ensure
accurate filing and archiving of accounting, payroll, tax, VAT, statistical,
and supporting documentation.
Identify
missing or inconsistent information and proactively escalate risks, delays, or
process deviations to the Head of Finance Europe.
Contribute
to process improvements, automation initiatives, reporting quality, approval
workflows, and internal controls.
Your qualifications
and experience
You will be a great match for our

simultaneously.
Relevant education in
accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
Previous accounting
experience, preferably in Estonia.
Good knowledge of
Estonian accounting principles, VAT, payroll taxes, expense reporting, and
statutory reporting requirements.
Experience with
statistical reporting or willingness to learn applicable requirements.
Strong Excel skills and
experience working with accounting and document management systems.
Good written and spoken
Estonian and English.
Experience with multiple
legal entities, group companies, intercompany transactions, audit support,
e-invoicing, or approval workflows is considered an advantage.

The expected salary range for this
position is €2,750–3,000 gross per month, depending on experience and
qualifications.
