Elcogen // Finance Director, Tripod

This is a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen the financial backbone of an international scale-up operating in a fast-evolving market.

In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, Executive Team and Board, supporting strategic decision-making, fundraising activities and operational scaling across the Group. You will lead a lean but highly important finance function and help build the structure, forecasting capability, reporting quality and financial processes needed for the company’s next stage of growth.

Your role

Your key focus areas upon joining us will include supporting fundraising and investor relations activities, strengthening forecasting and financial modelling capabilities, leading annual audit processes, developing scalable reporting and finance processes, and ensuring high-quality financial governance across the Group. You will play a critical role in supporting business growth and operational decision-making in close collaboration with the CEO, Executive Team, Board and cross-functional teams.

Experienced finance leader – we are looking for you!

You are a strategic and commercially astute finance leader with strong business judgement and the ability to connect financial insights with operational realities.
You are confident working in a dynamic scale-up environment where priorities evolve quickly and structure is continuously developing.
You combine analytical thinking, attention to detail and strong risk awareness with a hands-on and proactive mindset.
You are an excellent communicator who can collaborate effectively across different teams and confidently interact with investors, partners and Board members.
You are comfortable taking ownership, driving initiatives independently and building structure where needed.
You have previous experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally in manufacturing, technology, energy, industrial or other capital-intensive sectors.
Experience with fundraising, investor relations, forecasting, modelling and audit processes will be considered a strong advantage.
You are fluent in English.

Your main focus will be:

leading the Group’s financial management, reporting, forecasting and cash flow planning across multiple international entities;
supporting fundraising activities, investor communication and due diligence processes;
driving budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling processes in a rapidly changing business environment;
overseeing audits, IFRS-based reporting requirements and financial compliance across the Group;
strengthening financial governance, internal controls and finance-related processes, policies and reporting structures;
developing management reporting, ERP-based reporting capabilities and BI visualisation to support business decisions;
partnering with operational, engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams to improve financial visibility and decision-making;
supporting cost control, profitability analysis and manufacturing efficiency initiatives and having ownership of the equity management program of the company;
leading and developing the finance team while fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement;
supporting strategic planning, investment decisions and long-term growth initiatives.
