Elcogen is a European clean energy technology company that provides best-in-class SO core technology that sits at the heart of energy security and the hydrogen economy. Twenty years of dedicated development and demonstrations have led to mature cells and stacks that offer the highest efficiency, robustness, and reversibility, that are commercially available today from its current fully utilized demonstration-scale series production plant. To serve customer demand Elcogen is about to build Elco I, its first large-scale manufacturing plant. This will be only the first step in the company scale-up toward the role of market leader in the SO technology.  

In this role you will be involved in:

  •   Scaling up of existing ( such as slurry, paste preparation, and oxide powder synthesis ) manufacturing processes and developing new processes for mass production. 
  • Participate in the selection, engineering, manufacturing, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) of process equipment and tools.
  • Lead the installation, commissioning, SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), validation, and ramp-up of new production equipment in both existing and new facilities.
  • Assess the capacity and yield of new production lines to ensure they meet productivity targets.   
  • During ramp-up, monitor production parameters, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and productivity schedules.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and equipment.

Your qualifications and skills:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in chemical technology within industrial companies, specifically in the grinding, dispersing, milling, and mixing process commissioning, and ramp-up. Experience in launching new products is essential.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production equipment, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Thrive in an agile, dynamic, and innovative environment, with exposure to multicultural and international teams.
  • Strong written and oral English skills (knowledge of Estonian, Russian, Finnish, or other languages is a plus).
